Bio

Born in Along on 06 December 1986, Chow Partha Borgohain spent his childhood in different district in Arunachal Pradesh as his father worked in Arunachal Pradesh Police service. His mother Sengpem Borgohain, also working in Arunachal Pradesh as a government employee, left her job after Partha was born. Since then she served the family as a housewife. 

After completing his schooling in Arunachal, he moved to Chennai, where he earned his degree in Visual Arts from Madras Christian College. His interest in the art of photography, kindled during his time at Madras Christian College as before, it was all greek to him. 

He then pursued further studies in film and motion photography at Mindscreen Film Institute. His passion for cinema blossomed at Mindscreen Film Institute, where he met some of the finest faculty in the field. Meanwhile, the elective film studies he took in Mindscreen Film Institute and the special screenings, did much to reinforce his love for cinema. In due course, he had the privilege of serving as an assistant to the esteemed Mr. Rajiv Menon, further honing his skills and gaining invaluable experience under his mentorship, where he found out how to give shape to the rest of his life. Since 2014, Partha has been forging a career as a freelance cinematographer and director. His journey in this creative field has been marked by a series of diverse and captivating projects, each one allowing him to learn more. With an unwavering passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, Partha has successfully navigated the dynamic landscape of freelance work, consistently crafting visual narratives that captivate audiences and elevate cinematic experiences.
